Why is it necessary to supplement a baby with DHA?

Since the standard diet is lacking omega 3 oils, DHA being one type of Omega 3, it is recommended to supplement. DHA has been found to benefit brain, eye and nervous system development and for infants who are breastfed, they only receive the amount of DHA that is passed through the breast milk from the mother’s body. With formulas, not all of them have sufficient amounts of DHA in the ingredients. In order to make sure the baby is getting the amount of DHA Omega 3 they need, Nordic Naturals has created Baby DHA which is an easy to administer oil without any strong flavour.

Infants & Children 1 ~ 3 years - Take 1ml, with food, or as directed by your health care practitioner.
