• I've never taken melatonin. Where should I start?
  If you’re new to melatonin, it’s recommended to start with a 3 mg dose, taken approximately 30 minutes before bedtime. You can then adjust the amount based on your needs and sensitivity.   Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland (epiphysis). Melatonin secretion is inhibited in the presence of light and stimulated in darkness. Its production decreases with age.

Medicinal ingredient (per 2mL) : 

Melatonin 10 mg

Children and adolescents : Consult a health care practitioner
Adults: 2 ml, once daily, at or before bedtime.
Can be diluted in juice or a glass of water.
Jet lag: Take once daily at bedtime after dark, during travel, and at your destination until you have adjusted to the new cycle.

Warnings and contraindications:
– Do not drive or operate machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin.
– Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
– Consult a healthcare professional prior to use if you are taking medications for seizures, blood pressure, or medications that suppress the immune system (immunosuppressants), affect mental state or increase sedation, steroids or blood thinners, or if you have cardiovascular, immune, liver, or chronic kidney disease, a hormonal or seizure disorder, asthma, depression, diabetes, low blood sugar, or migraines, or if insomnia persists beyond 4 weeks (chronic insomnia).
